Lynx
The lynx is Europe's third largest predator, after the bear and the wolf. It's name is a reference to the luminescence of its reflective eyes.

Lynxes can live up to 17 years in the wild and 20 years in captivity. Like the other large carnivores, namely the bear and the wolf, the lynx is an indicator of a healthy and balanced ecosystem. The survival of the species is endangered by poaching, but especially by the presence and human activities that are increasingly encroaching on its habitat.
Adopt a lynx
Your adoption supports:
Protecting the home of this species - the forest, improving legislation that protects the species from poachers and securing migration corridors.
AdoptIn some areas where the animals that constitute the trophic base are hunted excessively, lynxes can also attack flocks of sheep or goats, such attacks are extremely rare. The cubs, on average 2, are born in June, and stay with their mother for about 10 months. After separation, young lynxes are exposed to many dangers, so their survival rate is only 50 percent in the first year of life and 50 percent in the second year.
